From my research I found that your 16-ft Airstream Bambi has an A-frame. I recommend the Husky Brute Electric Trailer jack, part # HT87247. This jack features a 6-inch drop leg and lift of 18 inches so the total travel is 24 inches. This also includes a manual override if needed. This is a bolt-on installation. To keep the jack protected from the elements over prolonged periods of time I recommend part # UF38-944020.

I purchased this cover for my BD500199 electric tongue jack. It fits great, looks good, and stays in place while driving... one bit of advice though: my level blistered, or shattered, I'm assuming from heat. the cover basically rests right on top of the level. I contacted etrailer and they sent me a new level. I have a foam insulator between the level and the cover now. 541015

I went out to the warehouse to look at the Lippert Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack, # LC285318. In order to remove the screws that secure the cover you will need a long and thin phillips head screwdriver. If you don't already have one, you'll want to purchase a Protective Cover, # UF38-944020, to keep your jack dry when you are at the campsite. This will protect the head of the jack and keep the motor protected from the elements.
Ever wonder what to do with your trailer safety chains, trailer emergency brake cable, and electrical connector when your trailer isn't hooked up to your tow vehicle? Hate to see these items just lying on the ground? Well if you are anything like Camp Addict co-founder Marshall, trying to find a good place to store these items drives you insane! (Camp Addict co-founder Kelly could care less about these details. 😂)
In the meantime, water, dirt, and minor collisions may lead to damage and deteriorate the look of the jack. As for the first two factors, you can reliably protect the jack with the help of a special trailer jack cover. This simple product is rather inexpensive but capable of saving you from more serious problems and prolonging the lifespan of the jack. Our store offers a large collection of trailer jack covers where you will definitely find the right product for your trailer. Durable, waterproof materials and their superior protective characteristics will help you keep your trailer jack in excellent condition.
A trailer tongue jack is designed to lift the front of the trailer, so you first need to know how much this is. The most accurate way to determining trailer tongue weight is to, well, weigh your trailer. Or you can spitball by figuring out what 15% of your trailer's maximum weight is, as tongue weight should be no more than 15% of the weight of your trailer.

The Ultra-Fab Protective Cover for Electric A-Frame Jacks - Vinyl - 12" x 14-1/2" # UF38-944020 is the protective cover I recommend for your Husky Brute 4,500 lb Trailer Jack # HT87247. I've attached a photo of the dimensions when laid flat, but I've also attached a video to assist with the fit. It has a durable vinyl construction with integrated draw string closure.

I spoke to my contact at Lippert Components (LCI) and they informed me that the jack will perform best in cold weather when it is properly lubed and cleaned. To clean the jack I recommend using a brake parts cleaner and spraying down both the drop leg and gears within the head of the unit. Once these two components have been cleaned you will need to acquire some lithium grease like part # L10307 and apply that to the gears on the trailer jack. Once you grease the gears on the unit you...

Things like that, that just tend to build up over time when things sit. When it's time to take it off, we'll simply press the button in our toggle, spread the bottom, pull it off and we'll tuck it away until we need it next time to cover up our jack. Not only is this going to work out really good for our Ultra Fab products, but it's also going to work on different Bulldog, Barker, Husky, At Wood 00:01:26, inaudible 00:01:27, Sequent 00:01:27, Component, Odyssey and Ultra Series jacks. That's going to complete our look at the Ultra Fab A-frame jack cover, part number UF38-944020.

So every time she has had to hitch up, which is often, raising  and lowering her jack has darn near thrown her back back out. To make matters worse, with an e2 weight distribution hitch she loathes, she has to (usually) RAISE the jack up to get the coupler high enough to clear the ball, LOWER it down onto the ball. Then she has to again RAISE the hitch way up, literally lifting the back of the truck, so she can get her weight distribution bars high enough to install them. Finally, she has to LOWER it back down until the jack foot is all the way up. That's a lot of cranking and it makes Kelly cranky. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

It sounds like there may be a short in your Bulldog jack which could have been caused by excessive moisture from the rain. Also I recommend checking the wiring from the jack to the ground and power sources. The jack grounds through the mounting hardware so you may need to temporarily remove the jack (be sure to support the trailer another way) and sand away any corrosion. Also check for corrosion or damage to the power wire and where it connects to the battery. The light switch...
According to the information I was able to find, the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack you referenced, part # UF38-944016 would be a good choice for the Keystone Outback Toy Hauler you mentioned. The jack has a 3500 lb lift capacity, which is plenty for the listed tongue weight of the toy hauler, plus anything stowed on it. Among the many features of this jack, I like the fact that is uses LED lamps for long life as well as the fact that a 9/16 inch socket wrench can be used in an emergency...
