We highly recommend getting yourself an electric trailer jack. Marshall has always had one on his Lance, and Kelly just recently got our #1 recommended Husky electric jack after almost three years living with a manual jack, and she couldn't be happier. For Kelly, it was one of those "Why didn't I do this a long time ago" reactions. Oh well, nothing like living in the present and not bitching a fit every time you have to hook up! No more worries about Kelly's back going out because of her jack. Her back is jacked, but her back won't go out due to a jack. Something like that.

Includes an adjustable maintenance Powder coated steel resists corrosion Snap-up lever eases hookup by reducing lifting required by trailer jack System includes head assembly, adjustable shank, 2-5/16" hitch ball
It sounds like there may be a short in your Bulldog jack which could have been caused by excessive moisture from the rain. The jack grounds through the mounting hardware so you may need to temporarily remove the jack (be sure to support the trailer another way) and sand away any corrosion. Also check for corrosion or damage to the power wire and where it connects to the battery. The light switch...
Ever wonder what to do with your trailer safety chains, trailer emergency brake cable, and electrical connector when your trailer isn't hooked up to your tow vehicle? Hate to see these items just lying on the ground? Well if you are anything like Camp Addict co-founder Marshall, trying to find a good place to store these items drives you insane! (Camp Addict co-founder Kelly could care less about these details. 😂)

Even after I read the many bad reviews I decided to give this a try. I wasn't going to just let my tongue jack get rusty and broken. I know alot of you said it leaked and wasn't water resistant so I decided to use my waterproofing spray I use on family shoes on this cover. After a few crazy wind/rain storms it is staying dry. Hubby and I are happy with it.
