From my research I found that your 16-ft Airstream Bambi has an A-frame. I recommend the Husky Brute Electric Trailer jack, part # HT87247. This jack features a 6-inch drop leg and lift of 18 inches so the total travel is 24 inches. This also includes a manual override if needed. This is a bolt-on installation. To keep the jack protected from the elements over prolonged periods of time I recommend part # UF38-944020.
Then inside, we're going to have a nice soft material. Even if the wind's blowing this around a little bit or something like that we're not going to have to worry about any abrasion on our jack. The way it works is the simple drawstring here is going to pull down and secure around the outer tube of our jack. We'll just slide it over the top just like this, then cinch to close. This is going to protect not only the jack motor body itself but also our switches and out light from any kind of discoloration from UV fading. Also, it's going to protect it from the rain, the snow, dirt, debris.
This is one of those great accessories that makes camping life all that much easier. For a while now I've been looking for a replacement for my old Home-Depot bucket-as-a-jack-cover solution. I stumbled across this one and so far it checks all the boxes. The material and stitches are really high quality and so far seems to withstand the pacific NW whether. The fit is pretty spot-on and you don't really need to ever take it off since the see-through panel allows easy jack operation. It got a couple of metal rings which act as chains hangers so I don't have to worry about them dragging and getting muddy.
The shipping weight of etrailer's Electric A-Frame Jack w/Footplate, # EJ-3520-BBX, is 25 pounds. This jack has received great reviews from our customers stating that it is well made easy to install. We don't put our name on just anything, so you can rest assured that this jack is good quality at a fair price. To protect your jack from the elements when not in use, I recommend the Ultra-Fab Protective Cover, # UF38-944020.

I spoke to my contact at Lippert Components (LCI) and they informed me that the jack will perform best in cold weather when it is properly lubed and cleaned. To clean the jack I recommend using a brake parts cleaner and spraying down both the drop leg and gears within the head of the unit. Once these two components have been cleaned you will need to acquire some lithium grease like part # L10307 and apply that to the gears on the trailer jack. Once you grease the gears on the unit you...

Ever wonder what to do with your trailer safety chains, trailer emergency brake cable, and electrical connector when your trailer isn't hooked up to your tow vehicle? Hate to see these items just lying on the ground? Well if you are anything like Camp Addict co-founder Marshall, trying to find a good place to store these items drives you insane! (Camp Addict co-founder Kelly could care less about these details. 😂)
OK, before you read any of these, we feel we have to stamp them with a big disclaimer: Do your homework before trying anything like this—learning everything you can about the company, the hiring manager, and whether or not they’ll appreciate some sass or snark. If they do, it’s a great way to make them smile (then call you). If they don’t? Well, better luck next time.
Have you ever had your mom call five times a day asking for a status update on how your job search is going, and then sounding incredulous that not more progress has been made since the last phone call? That’s my life right now. But I’m hoping that soon my life will revolve around being your full-time social media manager. The good news is, I bring more to the table than just an overbearing mom. Let me tell you more.
Back up your vehicle to the coupler of your hitch. Center the ball directly under the coupler (duh, right?). Lower your jack down so that the coupler connects with the ball and you raise up the jack up until it can't go up any more.  (Don't raise jack all the way up yet if you have a weight distribution hitch that requires you to lift the hitch as well as the back of the tow vehicle.)
While you could possibly run the power from the 7-Way to the jack, it is not ideal and you could overload the circuit. I recommend adding a battery to the trailer and providing a maintenance charge to the battery from the 7-Way. You will connect the 12 volt circuit from the 7-Way trailer connector to the positive battery terminal. The jack will get its power from the trailer battery this way and not from the vehicle 7-Way. Having the wire to provide a maintenance charge will only maintain...
The sealed, maintenance-free, 12V motor on this electric jack maintains high speeds, even with heavy loads. Extra-large, articulating footplate prevents sinking. Remote control has a 10' long Features: Electric landing gear jack lets you quickly and easily level and stabilize your trailer when used as part of a set Single-speed, 12V DC motor maintains a high speed, even with heavy loads
The Fastway Flip trailer jack foot is an easily installed foot that will give you either a 4" or a 6" extension. It has a unique feature in that it will automatically drop down when you are lowering your jack and it will automatically retract into a stowed position as you are running your jack up. Either extension length fits the standard 2 1/4" tongue jack with a 2" inner tube diameter.
Even after I read the many bad reviews I decided to give this a try. I wasn't going to just let my tongue jack get rusty and broken. I know alot of you said it leaked and wasn't water resistant so I decided to use my waterproofing spray I use on family shoes on this cover. After a few crazy wind/rain storms it is staying dry. Hubby and I are happy with it.
