Then inside, we're going to have a nice soft material. Even if the wind's blowing this around a little bit or something like that we're not going to have to worry about any abrasion on our jack.	The way it works is the simple drawstring here is going to pull down and secure around the outer tube of our jack. We'll just slide it over the top just like this, then cinch to close. This is going to protect not only the jack motor body itself but also our switches and out light from any kind of discoloration from UV fading. Also, it's going to protect it from the rain, the snow, dirt, debris.

When I graduated from Ohio State last May, my career counselor gave me what I consider to be some pretty bad advice: “Just get any job, and figure the rest out later.” While I think I could have gained good transferrable skills and on-the-job experience anywhere, I wanted to make sure my first step gave me opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and rotations through different departments. We bought the Clever Cover after having a problem with water in our smart jack. Really wished we had this cover before as it is a great protective design. The clear window on top allows you to easily control the jack, the pouch for the electrical cord and the hooks for the chains are so practical. It keeps all the parts of the jack and towing lines so organized and clean. It is well built and appears to be very durable. Great purchase and everyone with a Smart Jack should get one!

I purchased this cover for my BD500199 electric tongue jack. It fits great, looks good, and stays in place while driving... one bit of advice though: my level blistered, or shattered, I'm assuming from heat. the cover basically rests right on top of the level. I contacted etrailer and they sent me a new level. I have a foam insulator between the level and the cover now. 541015
Back up your vehicle to the coupler of your hitch. Center the ball directly under the coupler (duh, right?). Lower your jack down so that the coupler connects with the ball and you raise up the jack up until it can't go up any more.  (Don't raise jack all the way up yet if you have a weight distribution hitch that requires you to lift the hitch as well as the back of the tow vehicle.)

The jack grounds through the mounting hardware so you may need to temporarily remove the jack (be sure to support the trailer another way) and sand away any corrosion. Also check for corrosion or damage to the power wire and where it connects to the battery. The light switch...
