Building An Affiliate Blog Step By Step

Posted by: ChetH Post date: March 6th, 2012

In one of the online conferences I used to do I was discussing affiliate blogs. An affiliate blog is used to promote other peoples products such as those found on Amazon. You join the Amazon affiliate program, it’s free, and then build blogs describing or reviewing any product from their site. When someone buys something from Amazon through one of your affiliate links you make a commission.

Affiliate blogging is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to earn income from the internet. During the conference one of the attendees asked if a wok would be a good product to promote. In answer to the question I decided to build a site from scratch to promote woks and associated products.

In order to use the experience as a teaching tool I complied a downloadable pdf with every step taken to build the site. From product search, through keyword research, domain registration, site set up, uploading and activating plugins and every other step I took to complete the site is described with text and videos in the pdf.

The blog did earn income from Amazon sales and Google Adsense commissions. However I recently took the site down. The affiliate sites I maintain now must reach certain income goals or I will remove them or sell them.

If you are considering building your first affiliate site you can download the pdg and use it for a guide. Using the information could save you hours of searching for instructions and many dollars you might spend to purchase training programs.

After going through the information if you have any questions feel free to send me an email and I will do my best to answer.  Send Me An eMail.

You can download the free pdf. from this link.
